The food here is delicious, so so much flavor without being salty. I have tried lentil and the Persian chicken soup, both very good, but today the chicken really hit the spot ????. Can’t wait to try others. You can buy to go to stock up your fridge. I’ve also had chicken and steak kabobs, let’s talk about portions! No skimping here, always have left overs for tomorrow. Staff is always so kind when you come on. Check them out!

Fresh made food for a reasonable price. The quality of the ingredients requires a bit higher price but you can taste the difference with ghee and saffron added. Dishes come with a generous portion of rice, enough to make two meals of a dish so you can have leftovers. The owner, Chef Reza, takes great pride in his food and it’s important to support local chefs who make good food.

For starters, the customer service was excellent from the moment I stepped in. All 3 folks behind the counter were “salt of the earth” friendly people who clearly care for this restaurant. Secondly, waiting for the food to be cooked fresh is well worth every penny spent and minute waited (about 12-13 minutes). Lastly, many reviews say they received a lot of rice....that’s a great thing! My wife & I thought the rice was superb. We’ll certainly be frequenting this new addition to our neighborhood in Pentagon City.

Aabee express is definitely a go to place for me whenever I need to load up on Kabobs. Their kabobs are wonderfully seasoned and the rice melt in your mouth. It is also very reasonably priced and they have lunch hour menu as well. Highly recommend this place.

Decided to try this place a while back and I haven’t been disappointed. The food looks and tastes fantastic. In regard to the 1* review below, my food has always looked like in the pictures, if not better (because it ends up in my stomach). Portions are generous. They not only give you a good portion of meat but they give you a truckload of rice as well, perhaps that makes it look like there’s less meat in comparison, but definitely not worth complaining about in my book.
The food is fresh, tasty, and keeps me coming back. What’s more, the owner and staff are friendly and responsive. They alsways ask how I’m liking the food and if there is anything they can do better. The mix of customer-centric service and great food is a nice change. Give them a shot, they are worth it.
