Gorilla Taco

Y’all, this place is absolutely amazing. Their Adobo Chicken Taco, Taco Al Pastor, Barbacoa Taco and Mexican Street Ckrn are my favorite foods ever! Paired with their delicious cinnamon churro and it’s anyone’s dream. Definitely try this place out. I promise you’ll love it! Same owner as Basic Burgers, super delicious, authentic and original.

Awesome food at an affordable price. Found myself going here almost every week to get my authentic street taco fix!

New pop up in Pentagon Row serving tacos, chips and some adult beverages. I had the tortilla chips & salsa, along with three tacos; shrimp, chorizo, and steak. Compared to the street tacos of Mexico, which still reign supreme, these aren't bad. They have the same double wrapped corn tortilla flash cooked in meat juice and slightly crisped, heavy cilantro, onion, and properly spiced.

Steak taco was the best, followed by the chorizo, the shrimp felt a tad mealy. The chips are plentiful and the salsa is okay.

Looking at the adult drinks; agreed with another post, they are more expensive than should be sold at a fast casual place. Overall, because the steak taco was legit, I'd come back just for that.

Tacos are tasty. Double layered corn tortillas and the fillings are excellent. I had the mushroom one (delicious) and a shrimp taco. Chicken nachos are smoky and full of a variety of toppings that make the portion quite filling. Recommend this place!

The chicken tacos were very flavorful and the shrimp tacos were very delicious. I love that they use large shrimp and that they are cooked perfectly. The hot salsa is also really good and spicy. I’d also recommend a margarita or two since they were really good!!
