The Liberty Tavern

My first here and definitely not my last. This is one of those rare and delicious restaurants. We went on a Wednesday afternoon which was awesome for us because there were people but it was not an overwhelmingly crowded amount. What I loved was the warmth I felt from the staff and especially our waitress. My husband had the salmon which I thought was incredible. I settled for the bbq chicken wings and fries. I love my fries crispy so I will ask for more crispy fries next time. No matter your flavor, you will like it here!

An absolute mainstay and classic in Arlington. This is the best bar in town, and it’s not even close.

The bartenders could give any bar in the nation a run for their money. The drinks are always delicious and free-flowing.

Food is top notch, the Classico pizza is exactly that, a classic and must-order. Come for brunch if you want to leave happy and full.

There’s really nothing more that needs to be said than the first line of this review - this is, and probably always will be, the best bar in Arlington.

Reliable, popular, good service, good food. 3 stars only because it is more safe than inspirational. I choose it for those times when business and social overlap.

The brunch here is really good, and honestly a very good value. It's a versatile place that can meet a lot of needs. The Bloody Mary could be better, but that won't slow me down from coming back soon.

I always recommend Liberty Tavern if someone is looking for a nice dinner in Clarendon. This is a good place to take your parents if you want more of a restaurant feel and less of a bar feel. Solid wine list. Pizzas are nice to share as an appetizer. Prices are reasonable.

I've also been for brunch. It was pretty crowded but we were able to find a table by the bar eventually. We weren't really in the mood for a buffet so we just ordered a few things off the menu. Overall good.
