Skydome Restaurant

Ambiance was definitely a plus. I hadn't been here in quite some time. Don't mind spending money on a nice meal but way overpriced for portions and quality. I had the rockfish and my friend had beef ribs. Fish was good but I was still hungry. Wanted to try the green beans but they were out. Believe it was over $30. Beef ribs (close to $40) were tasty but overcooked so they were shredded when you cut into them. I can think of a thousand restaurants that put this place to shame for a lower price. Cocktails were ok. On the upside, the service was great!

Cool tourist attraction if you're staying in Crystal City in Arlington. I went up there for evening cocktails with a couple friends. It definitely has a retro feel to it like you're in a rooftop bar right out of the 70's or 80's.

Pros: Very upscale menu along with a friendly wait staff make it a nice place for an evening out. It of course also has an amazing view.

Cons: The cocktails for what they were seemed a bit over priced even for a hotel bar in Crystal City and left me rather unimpressed. I ended up switching to beer because they honestly have a decent tap list. Oh and the bar did not rotate at all in the 2+ hours I was there.

Tonight was my first time at this restaurant. We were a party of 2. They set us between two big parties and our service was lost from there. We had to go ask the nice host of the night for our waiter. We got our apps pretty fast but our entree took a long time to come out. Fries were cold and we could never get our server's attention. So we went up to that nice host again and he changed out our fries. When he personally brought the fries back over I ordered my salad through him because my waiter still hadn't been back to our table. You would've thought he would've at least came over to see if our order was to our liking, but he did not. So now it's time to close our tab, no waiter still, so the waiter Roberto ???? who cleaned off our table was able to print my check and I tipped him for his wonderful help. I've never left a 0.00 tip, but tonight I did.

Nice atmosphere but you pay for it. Food (I had roast chicken) was very good but not cheap. Great views.
