Love this local Thai restaurant. We always pick up our orders to eat at home. The restaurant is small. Portions are large and meals easily feed 2 to 3 people or you'll have leftovers for a few days. Cashew chicken is our favorite.
This restaurant is vegetarian friendly (no fish sauce) even in their curries. I ordered the vegetarian Pad Group Prow with fried tofu. While it was cooked well, the base sauce was more garlicky than a Thai basil sauce.
Overall it didn't really hit any spot apart from the fact that the servings were big for $7.50.
The fried tofu appetizer was okay as easy the ice tea.
For the price you definitely get a lot is grub.
Next time however, I will try a standard green curry.
Hot is more like medium and doesn't come close to Taco Bell medium sauce.
Great food, really nice owners. Make sure you ask for less spicy if you can’t handle spice though!
I was greeted with friendly smiles and seated quickly, I was immediately brought a wonderful bowl of soup without asking for it. I ordered my lunch and was brought a delicious spring roll. Before I could finish either soup or spring roll, my entree was delivered and it was a delicious massive serving that I had to take home with me because I couldn’t finish! Just plain AWESOME!
Great food, great price, large portions, friendly staff
...and baby-friendly! (though the women's bathroom doesn't have a changing table).
The staff are very personable. It's almost like being served dinner by a relative. It has a very cozy, intimate, home-y feel.
