Sushi-Zen

We go here for family birthdays! They do a great job of every style of Japanese cooking, so there is something for everyone. We just went here from my brother's birthday. He always gets their vegetable tempura. The waitress brought out a bowl of green tea icecream with a candle for his birthday dessert. Sweet! in both senses of the word!

The service is excellent; it is pleasant and efficient. The sushi is always fresh. This is my favorite sushi place in the greater Washington DC area. Parking is usually easily available in the parking lot in front of the restaurant and that is definitely a plus. I am always eager for a return visit. The tempura is lightly crusted and is also a favorite of mine.
Four friends went to Sushi-Zen for lunch today and all enjoyed our meals.

Clean restaurant with great service. Sharon was the sweetest and offered some advice towards sake and items on the menu which was greatly appreciated. Food was delicious and didn’t have to wait long either. Even the sushi chef acknowledged us and waived good bye as we headed out. Will definitely be returning.

Literally the best sushi I've had in my life. I have been coming here for 10 years and no one else's sushi compares. Great little cozy restaurant. Not to mention the staff is extremely friendly. 5 stars all around.

Superb sushi and sashimi! Great service. In my experience it is very rare to find a Japanese restaurant that can use organic brown rice. I’m a happy camper!
