Gyu-Kaku Japanese BBQ

Imagine KBBQ but with thicker slices of meat and a variety of amazing sauces. That's what you'll get here! The Kalbi beef comes highly recommended, and for good reason - it's delicious! Don't come here expecting all you can eat, though. They say that their "cousin" restaurants do it, but it's not something that they can do. You can still order combos. Great food!

Love the experience here of cooking the food at your table. A great place for date night or dinner with a small group of friends. Reservations are generally needed. Not a good place to take young kids.

I had never had Japanese BBQ before. It reminds me quite a bit of Korean BBQ actually. All Korean BBQ that I've had has been "all you can eat" but this place differed in that it had different packages for 2 or 4 people with a bunch of meats and appetizers that was so much food it may have well been unlimited. You also have the option to purchase meats and other dishes "a la carte" which gives you total control over what you are brought if you know what you want. We did the package though and that was great, we also didn't have to think about what we wanted which was nice as it was our first time. Everything was excellent and I highly recommend!

Ultra premium and upscale Japanese BBQ restaurant located in the heart of Arlington super close from nearby Washington D.C. For a party of 7 with reservations, we were seated extremely quickly and we ordered a large shared meal combo. The meats and vegetables were quite delicious but the portion sizes were quite small. Overall I think the value for money was a little lacking especially with so much competition a short drive away. I do however love the dessert s'mores that are included as part of the combo and will give them extra points for creativity. Such a simple dessert to be included with BBQ joints but this is the first and only place I've seen offer this to guests. Great way to end the meal and have a lot of fun especially with a decently sized party.

Since our party was quite large, tips were already included on the bill. Service was extremely friendly and the atmosphere was very modern and well decorated.
