T.H.A.I. In Shirlington

This is one of my favorite Thai restaurants in northern Virginia. eating in or taking out the food is always fresh and tasty. the Thai iced tea is fantastic because they give you your own set of milk and simple syrup so you can make it as milky and sweet as you'd like. even if the place is busy put your name on the waiting list because they move people through their pretty quick but they never make you feel rushed.

Absolutely delicious food. Very friendly staff. Affordable prices. Nice ambience. My favorite was Mango Mule. Highly recommend going there.

After two visits now we've had good service on rather busy evenings. The food is great, not too large a menu as to get lost, but still with a lot of options. I have eaten once out on the sidewalk and once inside, which is rather neat and unique looking.

This is a gem in the area. I went here Sunday night with my family and they were quite busy but still could seat us quickly. The restaurant has many gluten free items for the wife so she was very happy.

I had the pineapple fried rice and the portion was huge. You will not leave the table hungry. There was a lot of shrimp and chicken in the rice as well. The taste was amazing and I couldn’t finish it all.

My daughter had the plank salmon with papaya salad. They had two salmon planks on this meal so again you won’t leave hungry.

My wife had the bbq pork with rice and papaya salad. It was also huge. One note though the salad is a bit on the spicy side but it is Thai food so if you don’t like heat then ask for no spice.

Prices were very reasonable and the wait staff is very attentive without being a hovering bother.
