Love the food here! This was my first time coming and I was attending to meet with old coworkers from a previous job. The service was fantastic and the bartender did a great job on my White Russians!! Will definitely return to this restaurant. Plus I sang for my coworkers and despite there being a crowd in the place and music over the loudspeakers, the management wasn’t upset with me for doing so. I appreciated that.
Very nice place to meet with friends. Rustic environment is very appealing to have fun. Customer service is excellent. Great selection of beers, wines and liquor. Food is average. Installation is very clean.
Had a wonderful brunch. The Bloody Mary was perfect. The blueberry ricotta pancakes were fluffy and the orange honey butter added the perfect amount of sweet. The fried chicken and waffles was also superb though I would have switched the chicken to waffle ratio.
I've been here at least 15 times since it opened and always had an amazing experience, with the consistency remarkably good. The food is always very fresh, including the standout seafood dishes. I recently had some of the best scallops I ever tried, which were made with an innovative sweet potato sauce. The beer selection includes all varieties of some of Virginia's best breweries. What truly elevates this place, though, are the sides. My personal favorites are the Brussels sprouts and mac n' cheese. If there was a place you'd visit for just the sides, this would be it!
Took the office out for lunch here, what a treat. Got to sample a little of everything and it was all delicious. The service was friendly and fast. I like the touch of real cane syrup in the ice tea, yummy! I really liked the ambiance and decor of the restaurant. My only regret was that we had to go back to work and not stay for happy hour.
