I moved fromy hometown of Campbell, Ohio where we have a VERY PROMINENT GREEK presence so I know great authentic Greek Food. Plus, we have The Simple Greek there too, and it's never been a disappointment. This was no different and being a little homesick, it was great to find this unexpectedly!! Plus, the manager recognized my hometown of Boardman, Ohio on my D License, and commented about knowing we had a site there. That Ladies and Gents is someone who is engaged! The food was outstanding and, I even bought another full Dinner for my Lunch the next day!
Staff was terrific. Food just wasn't my favorite. It was fresh and made well. I just was expecting more intense flavor profile that I am used to with Middle Eastern and Mediterranean foods. This was more subdued, perhaps to assist or cater to people with lesser experience with the dishes.
Place is nice. The person that takes the order was very pleasant and attentive. Got a pita sandwich, everything was tasty, the 1 reason why I won't get that again it's because the pita is too chewy and tick, didn't eat the pita bread. Got a salad, that was good. The last item was baklava, won't get that again, all you can taste is syrup. It's suppose to have a mixture of nuts as part of the taste but that was not the case. Other than that, I do recommend. A little pricey but that's normal for the area.
Delicious! A hip Greek restaurant in the heart of it all in Arlington. Highly recommend this restaurant based on experience so far.
I went with two others. We had bowls (which come with half a pita as well). The pita was very fresh. I found the grilled chicken full of flavor. They have a lot of fresh toppings (veggies and such). The tzatziki was fantastic!
The restaurant is clean and the staff were friendly. The bowl is quite a filling meal. Give The Simple Greek a try. I think it's a great addition to the area and wish them much success.
Friendly staff, nice and clean place. Great spot for Greek food. Enjoyed a chicken bowl, plenty of toppings to pick, all fresh and tasty. Loved the marinated veggies and the whole wheat pita bread. Highly recommend the Simple Greek!
