Pamplona is now my favorite place in Arlington. Very good drinks and tasty tapas. Octopus and calamari are very well made. Especially grilled octopus was juicy and flavorful. I had Bourbon maracuya (passion fruit, lilikoi). Very refreshing but at the same time tasteful. Deserves 5 stars. Highly recommended. Next time I will do $35 taste of Spain, which is all you can eat tapas. Excited.
Like going before the nightclub rush. We have great tapas then are suddenly dancing and having fun. Great for dinner dates.
The crispy calamari was the best I’ve had in the dc area. It was well seasoned and the texture was perfect. The host was welcoming but the bartender was alright so I can’t give a perfect rating.
Did the Taste of Spain option for unlimited tapas for dinner. Everything cooked correctly and with good flavors (including the octopus, which I'm thankful wasn't overcooked like many restaurants do). Waitress was kind and quick to refill drinks and clear plates. I think my only concern was the croqueta being slightly gummy in internal texture but it was still tasty nonetheless.
Enjoyed the Taste of Spain option. Each small plate came out freshly made. Tasted good but was lacking a level of flavor i was expecting. Americanized in a way.
