    Nice hangout overlooking the planes departing and arriving on Christmas day when we dropped off our daughter at the DCA airport. Turkey burger and fries were good but lacked flavor.

    I have to admit, I was misconceived. I asked for their signature dish, they pointed at the Ben's Chili Bowl sign, and I thought I was going to get a chili bowl. It's not a chili bowl! It's a hot dog with chili topping! It tastes pretty good, as did the accompanying fries.

    Rarely have I experienced a spinoff location, much less an airport spinoff location, which rivals the original.

    Am here to tell you that Ben's Chili Bowl is EVERY bit as good as the original on 14th Street where I had lived when I first moved into this area some 20 years ago.

    I make special trips with my kids to the airport just to get Ben's.

    Insofar as airport food goes, I cannot recommend a place to a higher degree as Ben's sets the bar.

    Try it. You will not be disappointed.
