Hangry Joe's Hot Chicken & Wings

Really good chicken sandwich, very juicy and crispy. Ordered mild based on prior reviews, in hindsight would have ordered medium. Coleslaw and pickles were really good. Waffle fries were good but considering I was the only person in the restaurant, they were warm but not hot. Restaurant was freezing inside.

I tried several places with chicken in US, this is really the best one! Great food combos and very nice service!!! ❤️

Overall not bad. To get there, you’ll have to park a few minutes away but terribly bad. Service is order at the counter or via kiosk like many fast food restaurants. Inside was clean, although not a lot of places to sit. Food was good with a pleasant attitude from the guy who brought the food. I had the Korean chicken nuggets. My wife a chicken sando. And son loaded fries. Portions are healthy so you’ll leave full.

Please keep in mind, my review is based on my order being take-out. This was an average hot chicken sandwich place. The chicken itself in my sandwich was not very crispy and honestly I didn’t enjoy it as much as I thought I would. The fries and sauce were pretty delicious though which are carrying the weight of this rating. Would I go back here? No. There are better hot chicken sandwich places in the Arlington area such as Hot Lola’s.

The food...is...DELICIOUS and totally WORTH the money! Why? The chicken breast was bigger than my hand AND thick (not pounded thin) AND seasoned/fried to perfection. It was crispy, juicy, and just so good! I got spice level medium on my chicken sandwich and mild on the wings. The wings were perfect, too! The waffle fries (crispy and seasoned), coleslaw (not too sweet & perfect amount of dressing), and pickles (kosher, crisp, not salty) were the perfect accompaniments to such delicious chicken. I will be back to hand over my money freely! Caution: The medium spice level is HOT! I love spicy food, but the medium level was a bit much for me. My tongue and lips were suffering. But I don't regret it. I wish there was a mild-medium spice level. The medium was too hot for; the mild was not hot enough.
