My wife and I recently stopped by lucky buns at DCA. I’ve been to the one in Adam’s Morgan so I hyped it up to her. She was very underwhelmed after trying the burger. The burger itself was good but the bun threw it off. Both of the buns on our sandwich did not taste fresh and were a bit stiff unfortunately.

I was traveling for work out of state, and while waiting for my departure flight I was contemplating on what to eat. I am so happy I picked this place. The atmosphere was welcoming, all the ladies were nice, and the food was adequately priced… oh, I forgot. I had the BEST burger/fries combo of my life. I had a Belly Bun and Cajun fries. Please - if waiting at the airport, do yourself a favor and support this local business.

I came around 4:30 on a Friday. Even for an airport this meal was expensive, $18 for a burger plus $14 for fries. But the food was good so I wasn’t as upset. The burgers had a lot of flavor, but they were well done. If they had been medium I would give the food 5 starts. I had the mezcal margarita which was pretty good!
If you want somewhere reasonable priced don’t go here, but if you want to kill an hour and have a good sit down meal then it might be a good stop.
