The Union Ballston

A hidden gem in Ballston-Virginia Square. Really hidden -- you can hardly tell there's a restaurant here. But glad I found it! Enjoyed dinner here last night. Everything was very fresh and servings were generous. Chose the yuca instead of fries -- best yuca I've had -- crispy outside, light and fluffy inside. The "Union Burger" was delicious. Prices are very reasonable. Good wine selection. Wish they had cocktails. (Coming soon, they say...) Will definitely be back.

My girlfriend and I stopped in last night for dinner. The restaurant is very clean, comfortable and inviting. The food was outstanding! Very nice menu variety. They have an ABC license and a good selection of drinks. We already plan to be regular customers. you should go to The Union. You won't be disappointed.

Today marked my 2nd visit and both have been great. The food is high quality, plentiful & tasty.

This place lives up to it's slogan: "casual, fine, fast". I wasn't expecting such well-priced, high-quality food, delivered quickly, and in relaxed (but not dingy or dumpy at all) environment. The mood of the place is somewhere between a business-casual bistro and a chic downtown bar (Edison lights and all). Huge fan and I'll definitely be back!

We stopped in for lunch and had the Mumbai panini, Chicken pibil sandwich and roasted Brussels sprouts. Everything was great and high quality. The food is a nice change from a lot of “fast casual” places. Friendly owners and nice inside seating area. They told us they will be getting their ABC license very soon.
