Yamada Japanese BBQ

The best thing this restaurant has is it’s owner! He is such a sweetheart.
We had a reservation for 4:00 on Saturday. They couldn’t find our name, but luckily it was early & we got a table. We did NOT get a server. The owner took our order. We had to flag someone down every time we needed something: forks, the appetizer I ordered, the scissors to cut the meat, more water, more rice. My we sound needy! These are all things that a server would have asked about if we had “ been assigned” a server. The staff seems very young & are still training, so no one took the initiative to just pick us up.
The food is delicious! I never got the appetizer, but the owner hooked us up with free ice cream & the most gracious apology. I would definitely return & I would suggest the inclusive meals at the back of the menu. I ordered the filet (9.99) & white rice (3.99). I was not hungry & this was plenty to eat. If you want any vegetables, it is extra$$.

Wonderful experience. Great attention to detail, and the food was delicious. I went on opening day and have returned twice more for lunch. Consistently great.

This was an amazing experience. This is perfect date night, first date, birthday or any fun festivities. The staff are very attentive. The food quality was perfect. Highly recommend the food and experience.

Absolutely lovely place, the meat and scallops were wonderful! Everything was fresh, service was great. Liked the spicy Korean chicken too. Sushi was fresh and great value for the price too. Highly recommend!

Delicious food at a trendy Japanese BBQ restaurant. The sushi and the steak cuts were so good. And the whole bbq setup is modern and chic.
