“We ordered an onion ring tower to share, take a look and let me know what you think? My wife got the portobello avacado sandwich pictured above, the portobello was thin. The gouda macaroni and cheese was pretty good. I got the Big B Burger and asked for it medium rare more towards the rare side and below is what I got. This was another disappointment that I brought to the servers attention he apologized for the burger but didn't offer to bring me a new one, that's another place where they missed the mark. I'll try them again next time we're here, like I said they just opened and I'm sure they are going through some growing pains!”

“I have been twice since they opened roughly a month ago. First time was on my own while my wife was out of town, and I ordered the Pork Belly - it was amazing. Today I went back with my wife and we each ordered a Banh Mi - I had pork, and she had chicken. They were both very generous, and quite delicious. The owner is really nice and friendly (the first time I went, the A/C was out, and she went and got a fan to point at my table). These are the same family that owns Pho Viet, also in Forest, and there are a lot of dishes common to both locations, but the specials here at Viet Cafe are out of this world. Also, Diana (daughter of the owners) is an absolute sweetheart. These folks are awesome. Absolutely give them your business. Your tummy will thank you.”

“The decor is very cute. The food was alright, but is a little pricy. My boyfriend got the Eggs Benedict Florentine and really enjoyed them though the poached eggs weren't runny. I got the Chicken and Waffle Casserole. I was expecting a portion of a casserole but it was more so a sandwich which was fine but it was just a fourth of a sandwich I would’ve expected two sections like the Eggs benedict or maybe add some fresh fruit to fill up space on the plate. And it definitely needed a sauce since the French toast bottom was a bit thick and the chicken was flavorful but a little dry and the waffle top was very, very crispy and plain. The description listed maple syrup so maybe it was supposed to come with some but it didn't get on the plate I ended up asking for a side of syrup which helped. And I didn't realize til I got home that mine was supposed to have cheese which it didn't have on it. The hash browns were very well seasoned and very good. Overall since this was still the soft opening it wasn't bad but there are some areas that need work. I'll probably wait a few months and then maybe try them out for regular dinner.”

“My daughters and I visited New London Farm & 460 Meats this weekend. It was fun to see the cows and calves; meet Summer the aging cattle dog; and shop in the little store. We left with some amazing local items like apple butter, maple syrup, and, of course, beef. It was a great time and can't wait to stop by again!”
