“Girlfriend and I wanted to try something a bit different before starting a new schedule at work today. Decided to try Waffle house, which was on the way to work. Staff greeted us and we took a seat, and our food was promptly ordered and served. The price was about what we expected, and the quality was above expectations. The only reason I'm not rating higher is because the whole time we were there, the staff was talking about every customer who came in (commenting on their orders, attire, etc); since this is a front kitchen building, it meant that they did it off to the side (where my girlfriend and I happened to be sitting).”

“This was an amazing place to eat. The salad bar comes with all the meals. The service was amazing and they even made fresh Mac and cheese for the salad bar to our request. The meal I got was 4 chicken tenders and fries. The tenders were crispy and fresh. When you bit into them they had a warm and savory bite. They weren't too greasy and overall amazing! The fries we cooked to perfection, not being too fried but yet not under fried. This is an easy 5 star all day!”

On a more positive note, these guys still have WAY better service, over all, from the memorial location. I try not to go to the memorial location. I still believe the standards are lacking in Lynchburg for the "gold star" product & service that made this franchise the Icon it is today.... Where's corporate at???”
