Bodo's Bagel Bakery - UVA "Corner"

Stopped in for a breakfast bagel and coffee. After touring University of Virginia we decided to go back and pickup bagel sandwiches for lunch! Has been many years since we have been to a bagel shop this good! Inexpensive too!

Cheap and tasty. I don't know where else you can get a decent bagel and cream cheese for 2 bucks. Dog friendly patio too.

From the start of the order until the last crumb was eaten, the experience could not be rated as less than happy, joyous and enjoyable. The order taker has great hair and an even greater personality. Go for it. Great Los and shmears.

Wow! What a delicious bagel. Definitely not the most traditional bagel but a horseradish pastrami bagel with the works came out to around $5 but made for an absolutely delicious way to start the day for brunch. The sesame bun and fully loaded toppings provided one irresistible bite after another. The portion sizes don't look too large but it was able to fill me up without any issues.

Local, fast, inexpensive and good! Besides bagels, I like their ceaser salad ( add tofu). Nice soups. Veg and vegan options available. Don't be intimidated if there is a line. It moves fast.
