    So, so good! We had dinner and drinks at the bar and James was a great bartender. Cozy spot with some history and absolutely delicious food.

    Definitely one of the best restaurants in Charlottesville. Lovely atmosphere and waitstaff. We can't wait to return!

    Went to the bar and had dessert and drinks. It looked like it was stuck in the 1980s I think? Hipster bartender and servers were dressed to fit the scene with their sweaters. They were very accommodating, knowledgeable, and offered pleasant service. Dessert was fantastic. I'll definitely return for dinner.

    Wonderful, delicious delightful dinner. All 4 of us enjoyed each & every dish/course. Quaint historic setting. Superb service.

    Amazing food and service. Very cozy atmosphere with historic ambiance. Definitely worth the price. Incredibly high standard for both their food and wait staff. Very knowledgeable and it’s always good to ask for a recommendation. Amazing selection of cocktails and wine, with a great (and cheaper) late night menu to go along with the hidden-away feeling of the basement bar. Always a treat to go to C&O!
