Awesome breakfast. One of the best hot breakfasts I've had in a long time. Very fast too.
Possibly one of the best breakfast/brunch places in Cville. Delicious, simple, and quick food. Newly discovered and will be coming here regularly! Highly recommend!
This place is fantastic! Great for Saturday brunch! Props to the hostess, they've really got it together and move people to get them seated as fast and as comfortable as possible. Charles was our waiter, he was super friendly, funny and knowledgeable about the menu! The brunch drinks were delicious! We will definitely be back soon!
Brand new trendy restaurant with a focus on breakfast/brunch. Extremely friendly staff and fairly quick service. Servers are very attentive, and go out of their way to take care of you, even if they're not assigned to your table! The food here is bit more of a modern take, bordering on being creative fusion of ideas. Prices are reasonable and affordable and I will definitely return.
Absolutely stellar place for breakfast and lunch.
I already knew about First Watch from visits to family in Florida, so when I saw one was opening here I got excited. I may have checked back every few days until I saw it was opening. Having my first meal there opening day, it definitely lives up to my expectations.
Like any first day there were some hitches- notably that the staff was still learning the very cool and off-beat menu- but what impressed me was that they were working together to insulate guests from thise first day bumps. I was visited by several waiters working fairly seamlessly together. My main waitress was friendly and took time to chat with me for a few. The coffee pot was never empty and my food was hot and tasty.
There's also a number of things on the menu my other half, who isn't crazy about breakfast food, will eat.
Recommendations here: the kale tonic is highly refreshing and not at all bitter, though it also isn't crazy sweet. The sweetness is basically all apple.
Also, the Turkey sausage biscuits and gravy is my favorite breakfast dish on any chain menu. It comes with one large split biscuit but you can order a side of biscuits and gravy to get a second if you're super hungry.
