Southern Crescent Galley and Bar

Memorable Evening. Had drinks and appetizers outside and it was really lovely. I was pleasantly surprised to be greeted & thanked by the owners during my visit. Food was delicious and the servers were attentive (great service is hit-or-miss in Cville restaurants so it really made an impression on me) . The bartender even came to our table to verify a drink order. I would recommend this for dinner, drinks or lounging on the back patio.

Owners lovely, but the portions were so very small that I had to eat again when I got home. I will only return for beer and the music; not the food. I am not one to post such reviews ( this is the first); but I felt very strongly that between waiting so long to initially be served drinks and again another hour before the entree was served and then to find somewhat less than a one cup serving of jambalaya lead me to this review. If you have even a moderate appetite, I would not recommend spending your money here.

I love this place! The owners are so nice and welcoming. It's especially nice in the warmer months when you can hang out on their back patio!
