(July 31, 2019, 2:40 am)By far our favorite ice cream spot in Cville and always worth a stop when visiting the downtown mall. They have all the staples you would expect at a gelateria (Gianduia FTW) but they also offer a whole bunch of exciting seasonal flavors too (this summer they had a smoked pineapple that was amazing). Best part is, if you're too full for ice cream you can get a teeny tiny bambino cone, which has a scoop the size of a golf ball :)

(July 18, 2019, 9:17 pm)Splendoras is my go-to place for a frozen treat in Charlottesville. The sorbets are far superior to any other local non-dairy options, but even I can’t resist some of the dairy flavors (especially the fall flavors like pumpkin!). If gelato isn’t your jam, I recommend trying a coffee drink or stopping by during a cupcake pop-up. Whatever you get, you will not be disappointed! I have come to Splendoras countless times and I always leave happy!

The service was impeccable. The gelato variety and flavor were really good. And I highly recommend their hot chocolate drink.
