Agave Azul

Unexpectedly stopped in on a Saturday night. This is a friendly and quaint family style Mexican restaurant. They serve complimentary nachos and salsa. Nachos were nice, the salsa was OK. The food was fresh and to temp when served. I noticed alot of pick up and take out as I dined inside. We had an order for a margarita when we first sat down, but didn't make it to our table until half way thru our entree. That's a huge miss, but it was delicious. Prices are reasonable. Not a romantic option, but great for a group of friends or family.

We were down this way for a curiosity Faire at the conference center and after roaming around checking this at the conference center hubby got the hangry pains. I already knew he wanted Mexican so after a cursory Google search we found Agave Azul. Other reviews made it sound like a place to try out.

Hubby had his go to of chori Pollo and I decided to go with chicken fajitas. Both of our chicken meals were tender and flavorful. Hubby is a man of few words so all I got out of him was "it was good." My dinner portion fajitas had so. Much. Chicken. I just wish there had been more veggies.

All in all a great meal for $50. Hubby had a margarita, I had a Fanta orange and a Mango Jarrito, cheese dip and our entrees.

The interior was clean, quiet and for a time, it was just him and I. It was very hot outside and the temp inside quite comfortable.

We'd try them again if we're ever back in this area.

Quaint little restaurant . Everything we ordered was delicious, but worth mentioning that the mexican street corn and the queso taco were amazing. Surprisingly we didnt particularly like their house chips, but the salsa was good. Once they get their alcohol licence will be even better.

I can’t even EXPRESS how scrumpdiliumptious it was! Idc if that’s not a word but “great” “delicious” “tasty” “perfect” … all those words just does NOT cut it to explain how good their food was! We also tried their desserts … oh my lordtt. So bomb! Their service was beautiful!! Family feel when you step in. Clean bathrooms! 10+ stars would be given if I could! Idk why people sleeping on this joint but it’s a must to visit if you’re in the area 🤞🏾❤️

Delicious fresh food. I got the shrimp tacos and it was so good. They come with two but I ate one before I took the picture. Horchata was on point too. The salsas they had were really good too, the avocado one was my favorite.
