“So I was amazed by this place and it reminds me I should never judge a book by its cover. I thought this place was a knockoff El Pollo Loco. I was so wrong. This place was so much better I had a Steak Chimichuga and the steak was amazing. Will definitely be back and recommend Edit::: OK so I'm going to need the Grandma's to come back and cook and send the grandkids home. I usually love this place. Tonight it was horrible. We placed a 72$ order and NOTHING was right. And of course we drove across town so taking it back was not an option. And it was like everything we asked them NOT to put on they made sure to add extra. That's crazy. I was overly disappointed. In search of some great Mexican again 🥺”

“This is going to be my new favorite spot to stop by when going on a road trip down south from MD! Their tenders are juicy and crispy at the same time, and their sauce is delicious. Makes everything even more tasty. Their menu options are so limited, but if you love fried chicken, you're going to love this place! It's better than Zaxbys flavor wise, in my opinion.”

“The ( and I can't emphasize this enough ) BEST tacos I found in chester. I tried all the local "authentic " Mexican restaurants and not even on the same level. Great environment, friendly staff, fast service, reasonable prices. Doesn't get better than Tacontigo!! As a mexican who lives minutes from the Tx border, I love tacos and I found myself going 4 days out of the week while I was working in VA. asada, chicken breast, birria are my favorite.”

“Amazing ice cream the best I have had in Virginia!!! This is a great spot to take the family and a movie or game to enjoy a great treat. They have all flavors to choose from and cookies too. The brownie hot fudge sundae was the best for me, but it was my first and won’t be my last. I need to go back and try something new now.”

“I've been to about a dozen of these places and though the atmosphere and service was good there were a few things I didn't like. I ordered the bag with shrimp and crab legs which I will say were cooked up properly. My issue lies with the flavor of the seasoning. I think it was too much oil that threw the whole boil off. I ordered the hot spice level and was pretty disappointed it was "spicy" at best. My wife got the De Jour special in here but only received butter, no seasoning. I think they need to rework the recipe and maybe add some real spice to their "hot" spice level. I will revisit but maybe after a few months to see if they make some changes.”

“The food was amazing!!! I got the fried fish dinner with Caribbean cabbage and green beans, my husband had the fried chicken dinner with Mac and cheese and mashed potatoes. 10/10. So good that I went back the next day! The food is so fresh, definitely worth the wait! Oh and the lemonade is a MUST try 😋”
