Tonight's special was Maryland Crab cakes served on Chesapeake flavored corn and grilled asparagus. Hands down the best crabcakes I have ever had at a restaurant. I grew up on the the Chesapeake Bay. I've had many crab cakes homemade as well as in restaurants and these were some of the best I've ever had. No shell to be found! Thanks Lone Oak for a great meal. Again I highly recommend this restaurant!”

Clean restrooms. Hand printed sign in store says now open 24/7. Convenient to northbound Route US 340 just north of Route VA 7. Turnarounds provide access to and from southbound Route US 340 but watch for traffic traveling at 55 mph.”

“Zen Ramen, I was informed that a new sushi chef had started so figured I'd give it a go. Texture, taste, and presentation were all excellent. Steven also came over to the table to introduce himself as the new sushi chef and conversed for a while, which I found very admirable. My lunch companion which is also a chef had the Tonkotsu Ramen and had nothing but praise for the dish. I rate the overall experience as a top-tier win.”

“We spent our anniversary here and to say we were overwhelmingly pleased would be an understatement! Everyone was incredibly accommodating, executed on all of my requests to have champagne on ice ready upon arrival in the room and they put rose petals and chocolates and candles in our room while we were having dinner... the in-room massages were incredible and the bar/lounge area was a welcome surprise to give a more social feel to the place. The waiters and bartenders were so friendly and you could tell they were all about "the customer"... I will 100% stay here again and recommend to anyone looking for a great getaway, with great views, and a highly accommodating staff to do the same. Jonathan”
