“Vito's is a trusted and very well known place to go and dine. The food is fantastic and I have always enjoyed every bite of everything I have had there. It has gotten even better with the young lady that served my table this evening. Her name was Jenna and she was one of the best servers I have had in any establishment. My cup was never empty, I had everything I needed, and even when things seemed busy, she always took a second to check on my table and make sure I was good. Highly recommended if you are in the Cumberland area!”

“My family and I visited for the first time today but it will not be our last. We each tried a different option and each was very good. They were incredibly nice people also. A big hit all the way around. Thank y'all so much!”

“Really straight forward donuts in an alcove away from town. In a converted convenience store the owner serves up large donuts with excellent service and conversation. They do more than just donuts but we just had a sweet tooth that needed satisfied and this place did just that.”

“My review seems to have vanished. Let's try again: Shogun is a five-star restaurant, offering excellent sushi to a small college town at amazingly reasonable prices. Now, details: 1) Anybody posting that prices are high here is unfamiliar with cost ratios for sushi restaurants. One cannot get excellent sushi for less, anywhere. Period. If you want supermarket sushi, visit Food Lion. 2) Although the sushi menu is restricted by demand (no surf clams, toro, or uni, for example), the quality of what is offered is exceptional. The seafood is impeccably fresh, the portions are remarkably generous, and the limited menu is perfectly prepared. As an aside, I discuss sourcing with the sushi chef...Shogun is working remarkably hard to acquire the finest raw ingredients for their menu. 3) My wife often chooses the steak and lobster hibachi option. Again, the culinary work is excellent, and the portions are too generous. 4) The service is great small-town friendly. I strongly suspect that I know sushi better than my servers, but they really, really try hard to make us feel happy on every visit. That's rather rare these days, and my wife and I appreciate the sincere effort to make our visit happy. This isn't just a "five-star" review...I'm trying to describe that Shogun is a top one percent restaurant for its price range, and that for anybody appreciating Japanese cuisine, this is a place you must visit.”
