“We had a great lunch and great conversation with the owners. We had a puppy with us and had lunch on the porch. They took water out for our puppy in kindness. I had the pulled pork sandwich with slaw. My friend had chicken salad. Excellent!!! Very fresh, and high quality too with detail on kind friendly service. Owners Bob and Mary are retired teachers who are very upbeat and passionate about the deli and store they run. Unforgettable hospitality.”

“The food is excellent. The ice cream I definitely recommend the 20 oz Chocolate and Vanilla twist. You will absolutely love it. As far as food wise the shrimp basket is one of my favorites. Their cheese steak is quite awesome if I say so myself!”

“This was a complete surprise. It looks like so many other interesting things you see out in the country....a good idea that suffers due to lack of customers and attention, but such is not the case here. Interestingly, there are very few tables which is a good idea. No wasted space and always look full. We were there in the middle of the day on a Sunday. There were several tables occupied. Waitress was attentive. Wife ordered spaghetti with garlic and mushrooms. She wanted to try the red mushroom sauce and they brought a full bowl. She is not really a spaghetti fan but she absolutely loved both and ate it all even after having french fries to start. ( We had worked all morning and had an appetite.). The fries were really crispy and good. My veggie calzone was large and filling and good. Lots of cheese. Bread that came on the side was very good too. We will be going back for sure. Don't let the out of the way location keep you from going.”
