Anita's New Mexico Style Mexican Food

This has been a family meet up spot for the last 10 or so years. I usually love the experience. This time it was not so special. The waiter took over 20 minutes to get to the table and when he got there he only took our drink order and not our meal order. He came back 10 minutes later with the drinks. The meal itself was fantastic but because we felt we had to wait a unreasonable amount of time it messed up the typical experience we have there. Hopefully next time we visit its better result!

The atmosphere is casual and the food is pretty tasty. I had the fajita burrito and it offered quite a bit of flavor and juiciness. The service was a bit slow with hardly anybody else in the restaurant. I chose double beans instead of the usual rice and beans that the dish is served with and absolutely loved the refried beans. The portion probably could have been split into two meals for me and was priced fairly. The margarita was mixed well too.

Just dropped for some 1am tacos after a late flight. Always nice to find something open this late and Anita’s didn’t disappoint. Tacos were tasty and came out fast. Place was clean and nice looking and staff was pleasant. Huge menu that was almost too big, but nice to have choices. Will definitely be back for more.

I’ve only had their breakfast burritos off the to-go menu. They have a big selection and I love stopping in here because I’m a vegan with strong burrito cravings sometimes. This place definitely fills them. I pick a veggie based burrito and ask them to remove the eggs and cheese and they still taste amazing. I can’t say anything about the dining in side but for some quick and tasty burritos this place always holds up for me.
