Jimmys Old Town Tavern

Took full advantage of a warm day and ate on the patio. Watched the hockey game and enjoyed chicken stew with a side of onion rings. The food was great and the vibe is always friendly.

Great local bar to hang out at, especially during the Summer on the outdoor patio. Jimmy''s Tavern has been around FOREVER. A main staple in Old Town Herndon. I gave it 4 stars because they aren't known for great food. But a great place to hang out after work or evening and grab drinks.

Ladies, if you sit at the outside patio please BE AWARE of the mist that is sprayed on the patio to cool it down. The first time I went with the new mist machine, I got wet because I wasn't aware. You may want to get to the patio via the inside so you can sit down before or after the mist starts. It goes off around every 5 to 10 minutes, but may vary on hot it is.

A hidden treasure! Perfect for lunch, happy hour, dinner, social gathering. The staff is very welcoming and Jeremy, the bartender, was a perfect example of excellent customer service. A place you can go on your own and leave having made new friends. I love that from the outside it looks small but in reality it's a spacious restaurant. Great outdoor seating with heaters above bar to keep you warm during the cold....from my experience, it was feeling like summer under those heaters during 40 degree weather. ;)

Definitely one of the best places ever. Great food and the staff is amazing. I’ve been going there since before I can remember and it is a great place for kids and adults alike.

Fantastic food... I had the tavern chili. Our host/bartender Sarah was gracious, quick witted and friendly. We were treated like family. Go anytime- you won't be disappointed.
