Wooboi Hot Chicken

Tried this chicken sandwich place after seeing all the great reviews online and it sure didn’t disappoint. The chicken was fresh and made to order very tender and juicy. We went with the level 1 heat just to test the waters and still delivered a nice calm heat. They give you a ton of fries per order which you could share with the family! Definitely will come back and try other menu items but for a first visit we were very pleased with the food quality.

Love their sando sandwich. Just be careful of the heat level. I’ve eaten Carolina reapers before and I’m telling you that the code blue level brings back that epic level of pain and burning.

I got the The Sando level 3 with fries and the chicken was actually really good and had a nice amount of heat. My issue is how slow the business is and how packed the place got during lunch time. I'm hopeful that they are still working out the kinks of starting a new business and can get the place running at a decent pace.

Wooboi cares about quality delicious food at a reasonable price. My friend and I drove over an hour in order to eat here. Both of us having tried more authentic hot chicken in Kentucky, we were enthused to see hot chicken so closeby. We ordered half the menu and nearly all the spice levels. There were unfortunately 3 of the items that were discontinued due to the high demand that Wooboi is facing. The only reason this is not a 5 star review is due to the heat level and how the spice is used. I am a believer that hot chicken should be drenched in the spicy hot oil and then dusted with the dry heat. Wooboi is skimping on drenching the chicken in the hot oil (should be totally soaked in the spicy oil!!!!!!). Would visit again if I am within a 30 minute drive but not worth an hour drive yet :)

So amazing, awesome. Tender & juicy on the inside. The quality of chickens used is excellent which explains why Wooboi Hot Chicken is crowded every day. PERFECTION.
