I got the Spicy Chicken ramen and it was delicious! The amount of chicken was very generous and it was perfectly spicy! They've got a wonderful rich broth. It was a bit hot that day so they had all the big windows open, but I can imagine this ramen would be even better as a comfort food when it gets cooler! It's a very cool place - it was pretty full at around 1pm and they've got parking in the front and back, though it's a bit tight like all the places in Vienna.
This is our first time coming to shin se Kai and we left with a big smile on our faces, the food was amazing the staff were very attentive. I’ll recommend this place to my friends and we’ll definitely are coming back.
I absolutely love this place and it deserves every star available. The drinks, the food, the service, the atmosphere here is just great.
This is a ramen bar as I imagine I want it. I don't feel like I'll be judged for my ettiquite.
The broth is excellent. The amount of time and effort that goes into it really shows in how rich the flavor is. The meats (and tofu) are always just big enough to require two bites per slice and are always enough to complement the star of the show... the noodles. Soft and bouncy, but not chewy, the noodles soak up the broth but still retain their texture well.
If you want a bit more food I can recommend the buns. One per order, but when I get them they always surprise me with how big they actually are. The chicken is always crisp and juicy with out being oily, and the squash is sweet and soft without being mealy as can happen when over fried.
The servers, cooks, and staff all shout to each other in Japanese as orders come in and guests enter the restaurant. It's a little weird at first but does contribute to a lively atmosphere.
Our ramen dishes were both delicious and perfectly portioned. The dishes were savory but not too salty. We also had a starter of pork buns which were soft and delicious and seasoned.
Inside they seat you at large "family style" tables i had 7 parties with me
