Ariake Japanese Restaurant

This restaurant serves delicious Japanese cuisine including sushi and sashimi. The service is excellent, the food is beautifully presented, and the prices are moderate. Plenty of parking.

We love eating here. The sushi is on point, and the specials are creative and fun to try. They've got cooked food to, but we usually only eat sushi ????

The ONLY reason I docked a star is because the service wasn't quite welcoming. I went with a friend, and we were seated almost immediately after arrival (on a Sunday night with no reservations). After that, it took about 15-20 minutes for someone to come by to offer drinks and take our order. It seems to have been a manager since she seems to be dressed more formally than the other servers I've seen walking around. Even after we got our food, no one really came by to check on us, maybe just one water refill, and then the check. I do understand that it's a fairly new opening branching out from their Reston location, so I'm sure that played a role in it.

Otherwise, the food was delicious! Would definitely return again and hoping for a better service experience.

Well presented dish, all the sushi tastes fresh, quality food, well mannered attendants. You could see the kitchen where cook prepares the meal was an excellent touch of intimate setting.

If you are a fan of sea food, and Asian flares, I highly recommend this place.

We came here for lunch today. The service was great from when we first come into the restaurant to leaving it. We ordered a chirashi bowl and a salmon bowl. The portion was generous, the presentation was beautiful, and the food was very fresh and tasty. The lunch special price along with the quality of food, in my opinion, were far better than what I have gotten from other restaurants. This is definitely a go-to lunch place for me!
