“**** UPDATE the owner corrected the issue. He contacted me directly and refunded 30% of the order and gave me a gift card for my inconvenience. I will return to this tropical smoothie and appreciate the owner making an effort to resolve the issue. Advice is to call in a large order not order online*** I tried to leave a message and send an email to the owner/manager however the information on the business card was incorrect and the email bounced back. I was told the manager/owner would not be around for another week or so to resolve my issue. I placed an order the day before to be picked up at 7:45AM. This was $300 worth of smoothies and breakfast wraps for the office. I paid for it and got confirmation that it would be ready at the set pick up time. When I arrived at 7:40am, they had not even began to work on the order. I proceeded to wait 45 minutes for the order, missed the meeting it was for, and I was an hour late to work because of this incompetence. I was told the manager would refund/discount my order and give me a gift card because I was so inconvenienced and it was such a ridiculous wait time when I did everything right on the customer side. This is unacceptable, especially when spending so much money at an establishment for a large group of people. **please see update above***”

“I've had Zaaki recommended to me a handful of times and went to check it out. What Zaaki may have lacked in its presentation was more than made you for by the experience. Admittedly the menus were dirty with old, dried food on some of the pages, but I didn't let that be too much of a bother. Between the appetizers, hookah, drinks, entree, and desserts my family and I had a wonderful time. The waiter, Abdool, was very patient and friendly, willing to answer any question about menu items. The food was great, and it felt less like we were just having lunch and more like we'd taken a quick trip to the Middle East. Will be coming here again!”

“I got the lemongrass beef on vermicelli, and it was good! Well-seasoned, no soggy cucumber overload, good size. It was pretty fast, the gentleman in front was nice, and the food was priced well too. The menu is functional, basic Pho fare (no problem with that). The only reason I'm not giving more stars is the ambiance; looks bare and unkempt with harsh lighting. Happily, there was more than met the eye. Would go again if in the area looking for pho in the area.”

“To be honest I order Pizza Hut when I am hungry and just need something to chew on within 45 minutes. The pizzas are okay, not bad but not great, and I do love the boneless chicken wings. Like I said most of the time they get to me within 45 minutes and I get what I ordered. The delivery charge IS a little high and kind of cancels out their online deals. They have yet to screw up my order like some other places I can name.”

We were also impressed by their desserts...so far this would be my go to Chinese buffet restaurant in this area. “I was out shopping Sunday night and wandered into Bread and Kabob...the best random happening of all week! This hole-in-the-wall Persian place welcomes you with an aroma of sizzling meats and fresh baking tandoori. The staff greeted me warmly and immediately began preparing my food. I sat at the counter and watched as local families dined while the staff prepared my fresh chicken kabob - which was juicy and perfectly seasoned. The bread is soft, yet chewy, perfect filled with meat and stewed chickpeas. When the owner swung by and asked how it was, my answer, and the answer, was that its perfect.”

“This is authentic Chinese food with recipes I have never seen at American Chinese restaurants. Note the Zaggat rating on the door! Some of these dishes including the roasted duck soup and lobster are worth trying. Upon entering you will note the informality of the tables and waiters. Hence there is no dress code; dont expect pampering. The fish tanks by the door are stocked with lobster fish and crab -proving fresh meals not fast food. For both lunch or dinner the portions are quite large. Highly recommend.”

“This place is absolutely wonderful. I went there today for the first time, and the all in all I had a great experience. The place is clean, and the staff are very welcoming, this was my first impression as I stepped in. I ordered, Pho Ga, Garden rolls, and the Vietnamese Coffee with condensed milk. My order was ready in about 10 minutes, and while The Pho and rolls were very tasty and flavorful, I can't say the same about the coffee which was very bitter and sweet at the same time, odd combination I know, but I just could not drink it. I guess if you are going there just for coffee, you might not have a great experience. All in all, my lunch was pleasant and I will definitely be going there again.”
