Meh, it's okay. Everyone is very nice, but the food is okay. Pasta was undercooked, veal was a little tough, and the tomato sauce was bland. I think the pizza is better than their entrees.

We love their pizza and the staff. They don't have delivery but you can call ahead and pick up your food. Perfect neighborhood Italian restaurant.

Had the white lasagna special tonight after caprese appetizer. Ingredients could not have been fresher and great balance of flavors. Delicious! Snuck a bite of pizza from the wife and that was really good too. Great little authentic northern Italian family run place.

This is one of the best small, well-hidden ethnic restaurants in Fairfax County. Historically and enviably, its customers are well-known to become regulars in this gem of a restaurant, started by Italian sisters with family recipes.
We have not found a restaurant in our end of Fairfax County that can prepare sole fish the way the chef at Via Veneto can. I grew up on the Gulf Coast, but the one water critter I do not enjoy eating is fish...except at Via Veneto! Any way they fix sole, it is inspired and delectable, and my family and I relish the evening that includes it.
A typical side dish in most Italian restaurants is a dish of pasta topped with a tomato sauce. The chef's sauce at Via Veneto is so full of flavor that my mouth is watering as I write this. The day after dining, my pasta leftovers never make it to the microwave for reheat, instead they go down in the same chilled state. Yum!
The atmosphere is cozy and friendly. Bring your friends and a good appetite, load the address into your GPS, & be prepared to have a delightful evening!
