Good Indian fusion food at a decent price. For $8-12, you can get a sandwich or bowl with your choice of protein with various options. There's a self service sauce station with some really tasty options (I loved the mango sauce). I would come again.
Concept is good but taste is definitely not authentic Indian. Kudos to them for coming up with this innovative approach of serving Indian food. Samosa chaat is better than other menu items in taste and authenticity.
I love this place, the food is great, the sauces are even better. The location had all this cool artwork on the walls and some atypical style seating. My only gripe is the for the style of restaurant, the prices are a little higher than what you expect. Easily $20 for a single person with a drink. It might be attributed to the location but stil. They have this glass wall that allows you to see the staff in the kitchen preparing the dishes. There's ample seating and they have this neat station to wash your hands. If I'm in the area I'll still come back though, the food is good and does lean towards the healthy side.
As a truck driver, I have delivered to their production facility in Upper Marlboro, MD.
They have ample, well-lit parking, in what appears to be a good neighborhood.
They are punctual, polite, friendly and organized. A great company to do business with.
Have a nice day, Choolah's!
The food was delicious. I appreciated that there were several chutneys available at the condiment station. The staff person who took our orders was helpful and friendly. (P.S. I was there after reading about the founder in my CMU alumni magazine.)
