I love this place, wish I knew about it sooner. The staff are always pleasant & speedy, great selection of pastries, breads, tarts, cookies and cakes. Plus there's a market with a very wide range of products to include wine & beer. There's almost always a line but it moves and it's worth it. If you go on the weekend, go early, seating is limited & mostly family style.
I love the coffee and food here. The pastry selection is unbelievable. Although I'm not a huge pastry eater, my family loves it. The sandwich selection is good. I have really enjoyed everything I've ever eaten at this location. It has a wide variety of Swiss and German food and candy as well. The staff is very helpful and friendly. I've never had an unjoyable visit to the Swiss Bakery.
Whenever I'm close by I'll stop in and grab a quick lunch. They offer lunch specials Monday through Friday. It's usually something like half a sandwich and soup or salad.
Bought a coffee today, it tasted weak just as it was the last time I was there. I suppose they're not using as much coffee? If you add cream amd sugar you'll end up with watery milk with just a hint of coffee. If you want cinnamon, chocolate or nutmeg in your coffee they have it.
I enjoy their outdoor seating. There's several tables in front on the sidewalk.
Great place to get authentic European pastries. Some of them are to die for. The cafe is also excellent. But I only had a few times to enjoy it. I highly recommend them and especially their special events like Christmas Market or Oktoberfest. And as usual, you pay for quality.
