Chopathi Indian Restaurant

If you've had Chipotle and are getting tired of it, then it is highly recommended you try Chopathi (the Indian counterpart to Chipotle). This is the 3rd store in the region that just opened a couple months ago and it's a welcomed sight to the paltry culinary scene in Chantilly. BUT they make *fresh* dosas and various tiffin's too. If you've read this far and still undecided, then you should really need to see the pics and read about what we ordered. First and foremost, check out the video on how each bowl is made with impressive care.

We ordered two lamb bowls with rice & all toppings, with one sauced with Malabar and the other with Vindaloo. But serious, check out the pics and the integrity of the layered rice-meat-sauce-toppings that is constructed for each bowl. It's like a multi-layered dip with authentic Indian flavors and without the chemical-laden ingredients in a typical multi-layered bean dip. Each bowl seems meticulously made with high density amount of food as each bowl comes with some serious heft. And for all you fans into spicy food, you shouldn't be disappointed with Vindaloo sauce. It's spicy & flavorful in a gourmand way as it doesn't just burn your mouth.

Great location, great flavors, great value, and a nice food gem (Really, this is a gem of a place since the entire store front is literally hidden behind huge brick columns!).

[Update 2 hours later] Whoo... it's been a couple hours and that Vinhaloo burn is real :) Just thought you should know for those who like flavorful spicy.
