The food was really good and fresh. The service needs work.
However our waitress did not provide us w excellent service. We had 2 water glass to share for 3 people. Would think it's common sense to bring another glass out if we are drinking water. I requested no starches or breads w my meal. I wanted to substituted the breads/potatoe side with turkey sausage. My meal was served with toast & turkey sausage in the omelet instead of bacon. That was disappointing.
The food is good and worth another try. I hope to have a better experience with out waiter/waitress.
Love the atmosphere. I usually go to the Bowie, MD location but I really like this one. Million dollar bacon is the best. The morning Melody and the kale drink are the awesome and how I get veggies in.
The food and service are always wonderful here. I gave First Watch 4 stars because the last time we went my friend got the egg breakfast sandwich and it came to the table without the egg. The server had just picked up the order before it was ready trying to be efficient but still... otherwise, nice and clean place. I've recommended it several times to others!
Would you like toast with your avocado? Not being a millennial and living overseas, this is only the second time, in 4 months, that I've ever had avocado toast. Man, they did not skimp on avocado what so ever! With it being Veganuary, I substituted the eggs for potatoes. More on them later, back to the toast! The avocado were nice, chunky, and lightly sprinkled with chives (I think). They provided a juicy lemon wedge on which I drizzled a portion to see if I liked it. Yes! It provided a freshness and nice variety of flavors. I decided to squeeze the wedge onto both slices. After savoring the first slice, I further experimented. A little salt, yes! Some finely ground pepper, a hat trick! What a wonderful balance of flavors and textures! The potatoes were diced and cooked with onion to give it extra flavor. Some parts were extra brown to remind me of hash browns. The restaurant was packed when I got there around noon. They sat me at a communal table, which is very efficient for solo and couple diners who don't want to wait for their own table. The waitstaff were friendly, the ladies' restroom was clean, and it's just a pleasant atmosphere to dine.
