Consistently excellent food
In my opinion, they make the very best crabcakes in the region. Same goes for their burgers. Their Drunken Rib eye is not to be missed. Service is outstanding. It's my go-to restaurant and has been since it opened quite a few years ago.
Overall food and service was good. Had the Salmon that was good and well seasoned. But that was fall back because wanted the brick chicken but at 8pm was out. Waitress attentive but did forget the bread. I figured it was meant to be, I really did not need the bread. The frustration and downgraded stars was due to lack support for business travelers. I ordered beer with dinner and asked that my alcohol be on separate check. When bill came said she could not do it. I had her check again, nope cannot do it. Really? If I had known when ordering drinks I would have left. Now having to work with getting approved by client even though I deduct the beers is going to be problem and not look professional. Or do I swallow the bill and do not submit? Artie's need to figure out how to accommodate business clients.
Arties always has great food, good service, and everything is fresh and well presented. I love their soups and salads. I have never had a bad meal there. But, it is pricey. You are paying for excellence.
As with nearly every Great American Restaurant location, you really can't beat the quality. A NOVA staple, Artie's has pretty much the standard GAR menu (Coastal Flats and Silverado being more specialized). The atmosphere is warm with a boating theme throughout. Service as always is top notch. Definitely a little pricey, but this is the place for which I find myself most often justifying the price. You must try the Jambalaya!!
A popular restaurant in this area. Friendly wait staff. We did wait long for our food. The food is solid, tasty American food. Nice restaurant but not fancy. Great for family and friends. We've always had a good experience.
