If i could afford to buy or even rent a home here i would.... Absolutely gorgeous houses... There is even a beautiful lake like beach at the end buy the community center... Pool cumin soon... Nice nice nice place... A dream home at affordable prices...
Always helpful and eager to assist.
I love lake living...and love Lake Monticello! We moved from the “hub-bub” of Northern Virginia to the comfortable pace of Central Virgina, and haven’t regretted it for a single day. The people are terrific, the lake and amenities are fantastic — and did I say the people are terrific?
Everything about the lake suits us. The facilities are well-kept (and, after the sweeping building and renovation projects in the past few years, top-notch); the police are supportive and professional; the activities are endless...I think you can tell we love it.
There is other feedback that talks to the costs of living here. Our HOA costs are less than other communities around us (and provide more services), and the taxes are much (much!) lower than in other parts of Virginia. It is true that our water costs are high, but that is more than offset by lower costs in other areas.
Of all the places our friends have lived, we couldn’t think of one where we’d rather be.
The staff was nice and recognized me.
