Allman's Bar-B-Que

I had not been to this old Americana family style restaurant in about a decade, but was pleasantly surprised that basically nothing had changed. The traditional southern cooking was evident in my mac and cheese and collard greens! And the pulled pork sandwich was absolutely delicious. Allman's continues to get it right when it comes to American barbecue. If you are visiting Fredricksburg, or even just passing by on I-95, it's definitely worth the stop (just 3 or 4 minutes from the exit ramp). Our waitress was very friendly and attentive, and the prices are appealing especially for the quantity you receive.

Great food and quick service. Have been eating here for 18 years and would recommend it to anyone that is in the area. A historic restaurant in the community.

5 stars for speed and the double sizes. The burger itself was fine, but it came out super fast after ordering! The fries were delicious and the mac and cheese is top notch (reminiscent of the best gas station mac and cheese you can imagine). Generous wait staff and fun location! Boyfriend loved the BBQ too ????????

The place has great reviews for a reason. The value is incredible and the BBQ pork is delicious.
The atmosphere is right out of 1956, when they opened. The staff were kind and friendly.
I'm definitely going back.

Fantastic is not a strong enough word. The service was very friendly, and made you feel like you were eating at a friend's home. The food was great, and served fast, fresh and hot. Highly recommend!
