Miso Asian Grill & Sushi Bar

Whilst in Fredericksburg on business, I did a quick search on Asian restaurants in the area. I was immediately drawn to this place 1) because the reviews were phenomenal and 2) the name is just ridiculous.

The restaurant is not real fancy, but its nicely decorated inside. They had a variety of cuisines from Japanese and Thai dishes. I ordered the Thai Cashew Shrimp with extra veggies in place of my rice and extra spicy. My food was very good, but it wasn't at all spicy. Carry your hot sauce in your bag.

The place has a lot to offer. A pretty nice sushi menu and lots of good appetizers. They also have a kids menu with chicken tenders and fries for the picky eater.

Top-notch Asian food at reasonable prices. The staff are wonderful and the atmosphere is pleasant. Make sure you bring your appetite.

I wanted to try some new things and tried this place and found I'm just not much of a sushi person. I got the tuna sushi and seaweed salad. Just was not for me. I don't think I would have found them appealing anywhere. The Pho was pretty good but I went a little overboard adding side items to it and the flavors started conflicting with each other.
I guess my rating is more for the very helpful waiter who indulged my silly questions on how to eat and what things were and the delicious red bean ice cream and sticky rice with mango (I believe).

My family and I spent Christmas eve at Miso for dinner. We had a lovely evening. Service was very good despite the waitress getting our drink orders wrong. They were happy to fix the mistakes. They were very busy. I recommend reservations on weekends. The food was outstanding. The Las Vegas Roll was the hit of the evening. We will definitely be coming back!

Lovely atmosphere. I was meeting some friends. Once they got there I thought the hostess was a little abrupt when she seated us. It wasn't like they were very busy. I ordered the pad tie which was good. The miso soup was cold.
