Sushi King Fredericksburg

I really wanted to come on here and express how much of an excellent establishment this place is. First time here last night. Very nice, clean restaurant. Greeted kindly and taken to our table. Our server approached us with a very kind smile and greeting. She saw how I was a little worried about what to order. I have never really eaten sushi before cause I wasn't a fan of sushi, I wasn't that hungry, and the price seemed a little steep when I wasn't going to eat much. She was very patient and understanding with my hesitation and indecisiveness and recomended a few things to try. She was very prompt in bringing out all our food and drinks. All her recommendations were perfect and 4 sushi servings later, hibachi chicken and rice--I was beyond pleased with my dinner! It was all SO GOOD, I am now a complete sushi fanatic! She made sure to check and make sure that everything came out good and asked if I enjoyed it. She was so sweet and all smiles the entire time! She made me a very happy customer! I usually don't go out to eat much, reason being it's expensive and two, I assume due to being young, for some reason I'm not as valued as a customer when dining places. I think maybe people look and think, "oh no, young people, they don't tip well." So I usually get stuck with really bad mediocre service and I leave disappointed, thinking really this is what I get spending my hard earned money? I could've just stayed home. But Sushi King? 100% worth every penny, I happily ate my dinner with my wonderful fiance and had a fantastic time! I made sure to tip her well and write a little note of gratitude for her excellent service! Thanks again Sushi King, I will be recommending you to everyone and will be returning very soon :)

Overall, reasonable price, good food and friendly servers but service was slow! Ordered buffet on a Wednesday night and took 15-20 mins between orders and it wasn't packed. There were about 2 servers waiting the tables. I ordered Miso soup that never came.

They don't sell items individually prices so don't expect to be able to order your sushi to go at dinner (from what I was told). Adults is about $20 and under 6 is about $5. There's a big kid price that I think is about $11. Plenty of things to do nearby as well as other food options.

Also note: THEY WILL CHARGE YOU THE TO GO PRICE IF YOU WASTE FOOD!! It's posted on every table!

Great place for lunch or dinner. Atmosphere and service always good. Come hungry for all you can eat.

Food was good and fresh. Service was a little slow for what was ordered. Planning on returning to see if it was just an off day. Overall definitely a good place to eat if you have spare time.

Edit: service is fine. Waitstaff are nice and attentive.

Berry nice experience. Good food and good service. Just remember to order little by little because they have the no food waste policy. Totally worth it and every time we ordered something else, food took 5-6 minute to come out. Would definitely go back.
