Heavens' Pizza & Tap House

Wanted a non-chain pizza experience. We got it. The pizza was delicious. The space is cramped and rather warm. Wait staff were nice.

Hello, hello-hello. Guess who. Ummm, I bet you’re a little surprised by this, but you’ll have to excuse me because I lost my voice on Friday. It’s Tuesday, 12:28 in the afternoon. I just came home from Heavens Pizza. It really is the best pizzeria in town. It is the closest thing to Governale’s Pizza in my hometown, in the 143, which I have shipped into town by my emotional friend on special occasions. The owner really puts his heart and soul into this place and it shows. I’ve tried them all and this is the best. Damn good pizza.

Great pizza. It looks like its shut down. I’ve been coming by for a while and saw it the other week and assumed it was closed. Anyway it’s open Weds to Sunday and just has dark windows and dingy exterior/surrounding buildings. Been down here in Hampton with the Air Force a month, love pizza, but most of it here sucks. This doesn’t...It’s a little greasy, but I prefer it that way. Good crisp to crust and a very tasty exterior crust. The cheese and sauce are both good and they have some solid local beer on tap. Highly recommend for someone who actually enjoys good pizza in this area. Also for the money you’ll be hard pressed to find a better pizza anywhere ($11) so if that’s what’s keeping eating papa johns or dominos here is you’re new option.

Great, but small pizza place that I almost didn’t take pick to eat at. The pizza is very big and worth the price ($11.) The staff is also very kind and helpful. When the woman working noticed my child being fussy she brought him some extra toppings to tide him over. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for something great to eat on Buckroe.
