Friday, August 2nd was my first time going to this establishment. Chef Rainey's establishment reminded me so much of home and how my grandmother would prepare food. Not just the smell, or flavor, but the gospel music that was playing says EVERYTHING about your dining experience. You won't leave there physically full only, but also spiritually full. I know a lot of people may be looking for recommendations on food choices, but I recommend the whole establishment in its entirety. The experience is not just about the flavors that dance on your tongue, but also about connecting and giving reverence to the Almighty. Thank you, Chef Rai
My food is always amazing. Everything made fresh, even homemade drinks. Try the Lavenderade !
Amazing !!! As soon as we walked in the owner greeted us and gave us recommendations on what to get since it was our first time. The service was amazing. They were so welcoming! Omg...the food? The food was DELICIOUS! I recommend the lavender lemonade and the turkey wings!!!
Phenomenal meal! We truly enjoyed all the food: steamed shrimp, homemade Mac & Cheese, collard greens, fried whiting, and rice & beans. Collard greens are legendary.
Omg! Thee best food I have tasted in along time! Deliciously seasoned! Texture, perfect! Smells, wonderful! Needs more indoor seating for the rainy days. We spent over $100 and it was well worth it. I can't wait to go back when I'm in town again, and I'm sure my grandmothers will tell all of their local friends.
