I love goat curry. Like, it's up there with beer being yummy ya dig? Their goat is terrific! Few bones, but plenty of meat. Their yellow rice is good and dry which soaks up all that wonderful curry!!! Their plantains could use a little help, but they're certainly not bad. Great lunch place for CHEAP.

The food was great. The fish was fried perfectly and so was the fries. I also ordered the curry chicken for my husband, he was so impressed on how good it was been that he's from Trinidad. We will definitely be eating from this place again. My only complaint is too change the bread it was a little soggy, and so was the tomatoes other than that wonderful place.

My family was near Hampton University and wanted to eat before we drove back to Virginia Beach. So we wound up going to this restaurant. It reminded me of the food back in Brooklyn, NY . It was very good. The staff was very friendly. This restaurant seemed to be very popular because they were busy the entire we were there. We even patronized the Rasta who was selling oils, lotions and other products. Will definitely eat there again if I'm in the area.

This was a surprisingly great find! I was visiting Hampton University and was looking for a place to eat lunch. Found this place through Maps and very glad I did. I haven't had Caribbean food since I lived in Miami. I had the jerk pork with yellow rice and plantains. Most of the pork pieces were on the dry, over cooked side but they had good flavor. The rice was very good and the plantains were excellent! I will definitely be going back to try other dishes. What impressed me to come back other than the food was the fact that the place was a revolving door of people. The few tables they had were occupied but by the time people got their food a table was available. A lot of the food was for take out so people were coming and going on a regular basis. The amount of people that flowed through there made me realize that just because some of my pork pieces were dry didn't mean the rest of the menu would be the same.
