“This place is a wonderful part of our community. For one, it is a historic inn and cozy place to catch a train and watch trains. Two, they serve an awesome breakfast on the weekends from 8 am to 2 pm. They are open during the week as well. My serving this Sunday was Jessica. She is awesome... Very attentive! There is a meeting room here as well. I have attended several functions here. It is great for a small gathering 80 or less. Beautiful decor and knowledgeable staff. It is neat to see all of the pictures from the holiday parade on the walls.”

“Fantastic Farm to Table restaurant and much more! The food was delicious and the service was excellent. There were many Gluten free options as well for both dining and dessert. The wine was very good and reasonable and the knowledge and selection of wines and craft beer were awesome! “OK, just got home with the chocolate peanut butter cake, the rainbow cake and a small slice of key lime pie. My toes are still curling! The pie is awesome, I got the last slice and tho small, it is smooth, lime tart and perfect. The Graham cracker crust was a delight on it's own. I hope they have more tomorrow. The peanut butter chocolate is dense, with an amazingly smooth icing with a roasted peanut flavor. The rainbow cake was a huge slice and was sweet and a touch dry but still excellent. I think they said it was gluten free so that may account for the sensation of dryness but well worth it. I will definitely be back!”

“I am not always able to get out to this place. But, when I do, they always impress me. They have two soups, over 7 varieties of chicken, a shrimp option, steak option and more. The food is great! One day, I asked the chef to cook an item that was not on the lunch buffet. He cooked it, no problem. They are amazing here. The rice is always fresh and the fruit desert is good. I love the service and am thankful, they are in town.”

“We have had the food from Marios MANY times and been super happy with it. It is a cute, casual place to eat. It is family friendly and good for groups. It is also set up well for dates, lots of booths and sections. It is very similar to many of the places we visited in Italy. The pizza is so good. It is fresh and real. We love the Stromboli too. The Veggie Stromboli is heavenly. We like to add sausage to it. Our guests ask for it since they have been craving it. :) The prices are very reasonable and they do a great job with carry-out. I would recommend it for a nice break on a road trip. It is a nice, clean, comfortable place to take a break and get some comfort food. We will be back!”

“I'm not quite sure the people who rated 1 star even know what they are talking about. The pizza is fantastic. Crust very well made, and the sauce is the most important that makes or breaks the pizza. It was obvious everything was made from scratch, and I am assuming Vito is from Southern Italy because everything was very well seasoned, but not overdone. 4 of us stopped in today for the Sunday all you can eat buffet. Food was delicious, and best I have had in awhile. Don't pay attention to the low star reviews, as they obviously are clueless when it.comes to food. I am Italian and from NJ and there is tons of great food in the NY/NJ area, and this place could hold it's own in that area. Also staff was on point with refills, service, etc. Definitely will be eating there again next time I am down here visiting family.”

“My husband and I were looking for a great breakfast place in Ashland, VA, and discovered The Broken Egg Diner. What a great find! The waitress was very friendly, the food was plentiful and good, and the service was fast. We both had 2 scrambled eggs with cheddar cheese, a sausage patty, and two strips of crispy bacon. I had grits and toast (and the grits were cooked and seasoned perfectly--that is so rare!); and he had country-fried potatoes and a biscuit. We would not hesitate to eat there again!”
