Union Station Restaurant & Bar

Often a welcome rest and sustenance venue on our travels up and down the Shenandoah corridor .. they play a groovy retro soundtrack that I usually find myself singing along to. They have some pg beers and a nicely diverse menu .. we've tried quite a few entrees that are always tasty .. my only complaint is that the brisquet and sirloin have been a bit on the gristly side .. the wait staff are friendly and the kitchen is efficient! The facility is top notch.

Had an excellent experience. While it was busy the food came out very quickly considering. The group I was with had burgers and bbq while I enjoyed the salmon. All of it was excellent and everybody enjoyed their meal and thought it tasted excellent. Will be back.

Family fun. College fun. Just plain old comfy. Great service. Diverse menu. Great adult beverages. I usually have the crabby patty sandwich. But last time I had the grilled chicken (fresh) with avocado and bacon, sauce on the side. Heavenly! There's something for everybody. Outside seating too.

Stopped in on a trip back to GA from DC. Atmosphere was calm, pleasant and the establishment was clean. We all had a variety of burgers. Surf and Turf burger had plenty of Turf not a lot of surf, yet it was still tasty.

The soup of the day was very good and a hit with myself and all 3 of my kids as they all asked for a sample.

Lastly the Misses thoroughly disliked the black commodes in the bathroom. They seem clean but it's hard to tell with such a dark colored toilet.

Obviously the last is a minor complaint as this is a restaurant and not a rest stop.

I'd definitely still come back to try other dishes. Definitely a nice and relaxed environment.
