Capital Ale House

I don't like giving poor reviews, but it seems that perhaps the CAH has been going through some recent personnel changes and have yet to get settled in. I'm sure once everyone gets into a routine, things will improve. They tend to be a little on the expensive side, so be prepared to plunk down a little cash. The environment is nice, dark wood and an interesting seating arrangement. Extensive draught beer selection. They're are three areas: downstairs, upstairs and outside roof patio. Give the place a try and decide for yourself. It's a tad bit more fancy than it is casual, but they're happy to serve everyone. Go and enjoy! : )

Very good meal. Beer on tap is unmatched. Only problem was our main course food came out less than 5 minutes after we got our appetizers.

Nice restaurant with a huge selection of beers on tap all the time. I would definitely recommend you go there just to try a beer you haven't had before. On top of that, the food is great and staff has always been helpful. I haven't had to wait more than 15 minutes for a table, and once seated we get greeted very promptly by our server. Every server we've had has been knowledgeable and able to answer questions quickly. Overall, the restaurant has been very clean every time I've been there.

Cap Ale House has great food and amazing table service. The beer selection is great and it has a great cross section of well made pub food. The only reason it does not get 5 stars is because on Monday’s they get crowded and I have had inconsistent service.

This place is fantastic!! If you can't find a beer here, you got problems. There is a decent food selection selection including several salad choices. I only say that because normally a place that has this many taps usually doesn't worry about the healthier side of dishes. Great service, great food, great beer. The trifecta of a tap House and they nailed it.
